The Yukayeke Yamaye Kokuio - the Taíno Firefly Tribe of
Jamaica - is the tribal organization dedicated to the governance, revitalization, and advocacy of the Taino Kokuio Clan, whose traditional land is located in Hanover, Jamaica. Our mission is to preserve, revitalize, celebrate, and promote Taíno cultural heritage while fostering sustainable development, social empowerment, and human rights advocacy across Jamaica, the Caribbean, and the Diaspora.

We envision a future where the Taíno people are fully empowered to thrive with dignity, sovereignty, and cultural pride. By fostering resilience and unity, we work to ensure the survival and flourishing of our heritage for future generations.
